This letter is to serve as my formal recommendation for Max Dunn for the Presidio School of Management MBA program. Max Dunn was my manager for two years at Xythos Software, Inc. He has been interested in obtaining an MBA degree for some time now and I feel that he would be an excellent candidate for your esteemed program.

As Vice President of Product Management, Max worked with several departments to coordinate the growth and feature development of our software.  Max was always poised and professional in managing and coordinating employees across different departments as well as across multiple cultures including the Czech Republic development team that he brought to the company and our Japanese-based reseller.   In that capacity, Max demonstrated his technical expertise in writing functional specifications and his organizational skills in developing both client and server-based applications.

As my manager, Max not only guided me professionally by always making my professional growth a priority but he also encouraged me personally through such kind acts giving me a travel book, 1000 Places to See Before You Die. Max always encouraged learning and honing new skills as it is a priority in his own life as well.  

In working together with Max, I always found him to be positive, knowledgeable and a calming presence in a sometimes hectic environment. His entrepreneurial manor manifested itself through new ideas, original thinking and engaging means of managing his team.  Overall, I view Max as one of my best and favorite managers on both a personal and professional level.
