Max S. Dunn...when there is a will, there is a way |
||
To Whom It May Concern,
I am the CEO and President of Xythos and worked with Max Dunn from May of 2002 when we began discussions with him to acquire his company, Teamstream through May of 2005 when he left our company to pursue other endeavors.
From the first time I met with Max, I was impressed by both his business acumen and communication skills. Upon joining Xythos, Max became a key member of our management team. In his initial role as Vice President of Client Technology he oversaw the development of the technology built by his former company. In this capacity he was responsible for management of the remote development team in the Czech Republic. Max did an exceptional job delivering releases on time and within budget. An example of his commitment to excellence was meeting the needs of a large customer who required a complex enhancement in a very short time frame. Max enthusiastically motivated the development team and worked closely with them to complete the enhancement and deliver it on time.
Recognizing Max's talent in project management, and his ability to build consensus across departments he was promoted to VP of Product Management for all of our products. Max was successful in dramatically improving the product planning process from 'engineering centric' to a 'customer and market centric' orientation. He was also instrumental in improving demonstrations and presentations to customers. Max was an avid learner and became expert on complicated issues like DOD 5015.2, HIPAA, and other compliance and records related topics.
Max contributed not only as a leader but also as an individual contributor taking on projects like developing a new software installer working on his own time. Max also initiated a graphic user interface committee that was instrumental in gathering input and promoting consensus among all the departments for user interface enhancements.
In all his dealings, Max always displayed the highest values and ethics. He always strove to be truthful and fair when involved in negotiations, sales or personal relationships. I have no doubts that Max will be very successful in graduate-level work, and anything else he puts his mind to.
Sincerely,
Edward N Miller
