Often I run across interesting statistics that I would like to refer to later, but if I don’t keep track of them, they are hard to find later. So here is a record of various statistics:

Wiki Benefits

• Ross Mayfield from SocialText gave a talk at NPUC 2006 and said that after implementing the wiki at DrKW, email was reduced by 75% and meeting times were reduced by 50%.
• He also said that the major inflection points for increasing user adoption was implementing Single Sign On (SSO) and WYSIYWG editing.
• The SocialText site also has other case studies, one from Ziff Davis that had a dramatic decrease in email after implementing the wiki.
