Motto

Here is the story behind the motto. Many years ago, my Dad and I went backpacking in Colorado in an area that we were not familiar with. Several days into the hike, we got to a place where the trail was defined only by occasional “ducks”—small piles of rocks. We tried our best to follow the trail, but after several hours we lost the trail completely. We continued walking until we reached the edge of a tall cliff and were able to see the lake we were supposed to camp at that night. However, there was no obvious way down, and I was tired and distraught. Then my Dad said “When there is a will, there is a way” and we proceeded to walk along the cliff until we came to spot that we could make our way down to the lake. It was at that moment that I decided that this should be the motto of my life.
