• Battery cell integration into packs is very important. You can take a perfectly good cell and package them together badly to produce a bad pack
• Thermal issues are the Achilles Heal of batteries
• Thermal management must be designed for end-of-life parameters since internal resistance will go up and will generate more heat
• Batteries don't die, they are murdered
