TeamStream was in the business of connecting virtual teams online. TeamStream’s software products enhanced the ability of mobile users and virtual teams to access files from any geographic location and to collaborate and share information via the Internet. The company’s flagship product, TeamDrive, was built on proprietary technology that maped a drive-letter to an Internet server, effectively turning the Internet into a secure, shared virtual hard drive. With the dramatic increase in the numbers of people working collaboratively and also working remotely or while traveling, TeamDrive addressed the needs of today’s computing environment.
