“Joy At Work” was one of those books that created a mini-epiphany for me. Here was such a simple concept, but one that makes so much sense and was presented by someone that really tried it. The concept was this in a nutshell: give people as much responsibility as possible and treat them with respect and you will create an environment that is fullfilling and joyful.

The Six Sigma books presents an interesting concept: by moving the quality emphasis into the process, rather than on inspection, business can save money and produce better products. Too bad he takes 5 hours to present this material, and says Six Sigma about a million irritating times:
